How often do you see a truly green bird? Here’s an aptly named Grass-green Tanager (Chloronis riefferrii). Like the Golden-collared Tanager, we found this bird in a mixed species feeding flock at about 8,000 feet in cloud forest on the eastern side of the Andes.
